The Tyrolean Provincial Science Award 2023 was presented at the Landhaus in Innsbruck to our CSO and founder Andreas Bernkop-Schnürch, Professor at the Institute of Pharmacy at the University of Innsbruck. Endowed with €14,000, the award recognises his outstanding scientific contributions and his role in strengthening the international reputation of the institute.
Professor Bernkop-Schnürch is regarded as a pioneer in the field of bionanotechnology. In addition to his academic work, he is also successfully active as an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical sector, notably for his ability to bridge academic research with the practical application of scientific results.
